BEFORE YOU SKATE ...
Skating is at your own risk, so take care of yourself and others. And remember to skate counterclockwise – it keeps the flow smooth and the chaos down.
Remember to keep your distance and be considerate. It’s totally fine to go fast – just keep in mind that not everyone has found their balance yet. There should be room for both.
We recommend wearing a helmet and gloves – it’ll make your time on the ice safer and more comfortable. If you need a little extra support, you can rent a skate buddy.
Under 6 years old? Then an adult must join you on the ice. It’s all about safety – and making the skating experience a good one from the start.
Food and drinks are best enjoyed at the tables – not on the ice. Find a cosy spot and take a break. Smoking is, of course, also not allowed on the ice.
Please take care of our skates. Walking on hard surfaces dulls the blades. Kindly remove them as soon as you step off the ice.
It may be tempting to take a stroll on the ice, but only those wearing skates are allowed. It’s more fun – and much safer – when everyone’s gliding, not walking.
Ice hockey and similar activities are only permitted during events organised by Broens Ice Skating Rink.
