EXPERIENCE TWO LIGHT INSTALLATIONS DURING COPENHAGEN LIGHT FESTIVAL
Den Grønlandske Handels Plads is once again transformed into a universe of light with two unique installations celebrating the North Atlantic. For those of us based in such a historic location, it is a great pleasure to create a space where we can share stories from the North Atlantic in new ways.
The installations are presented in collaboration with the Arctic Institute and Nordatlantens Brygge.
ARCTIC FAUNA
Experience carefully selected photographs from the Arctic Institute’s archive, illuminated on Nordatlantens Brygge. It is a visual journey into the Arctic animal world, shaped by life in the extreme landscapes of the North. Each image tells its own story of strength and beauty in the coldest regions of the world.
DIGITAL NORTHERN LIGHTS
Experience a dreamlike interpretation of the aurora borealis, created with projectors and reflective materials. Lean back and experience a digital version of the magical natural phenomenon – a flowing light that mirrors the Arctic sky in visual poetry, where nature and technology meet.
